Dr. Gregory Thompson Dr. Thompson, a pianist known for his work as a Solo and Collaborative Pianist in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.Thompson presented his New York debut at Carnegie Hall where the critic praised him for his “intuitive feeling for phrase shapes, how to make a melodic line sing and how to inflect it with delicate rubato effects”.His career has taken him to performance venues in Spain, Italy, Austria, France, China, as well as various areas of the US. Thompson’s studies include Limestone College (B.A.), Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University (M.M.), and The University of South Carolina (D.M.A.).He also completed summer studies in Piano Music of Spain in Santiago di Compostela as the recipient of a scholarship from the U.S. Spanish Embassy.
