​​​​Founded in 1953, Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum serves the greater Charlotte community of musicians and music lovers by providing a platform to encourage an exchange of current pedagogical trends and new piano literature, student scholarships, and performance opportunities for members and students.

Program Update
November 7, 2025:  “Florence and Friends!”

​Julian Lewis presents a moving recital program featuring instrumental and vocal music by African American composers and composers of African descent. The program will include solo piano and vocal works by Florence Price, Hall Johnson, Margaret Bonds, Nathaniel Dett, Undine Smith Moore, and Samuel Coleridge-Taylor.

Volunteer at Legacy Heights as an accompanist
Legacy Heights Senior Living Community  (Address: 11230 Ballantyne Trace Court, Charlotte, NC 28277) is looking for a volunteer to help on Tuesdays from 1:30–2:30 pm.
