Founded in 1953, Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum serves the greater Charlotte community of musicians and music lovers by providing a platform to encourage an exchange of current pedagogical trends and new piano literature, student scholarships, and performance opportunities for members and students.

October 2nd – Laura Stokes:  
“How to Engage Students with
​Hands-on Teaching Tools”


Do you have students struggling to stay focused for an entire lesson duration?  Are you still able to cover concepts like sight-reading, theory, rhythm concepts or ear-training?  Laura has decades of experience teaching both individual, partner and group lessons using manipulative teaching tools to introduce and reinforce foundational music skills.  See and ask questions on how to better engage your students - whether online or in-person - using hands-on materials to supplement method/repertoire materials and printed materials!
